Speech Therapist

School-based speech therapy is a related service that supports the educational program for students who have a disorder in communication in one or more of the following areas: Articulation, Language, Fluency, and Voice.
School Psychologist

School Psychologists provide services to schools by working with students, school staff, and parents/guardians to offer services to help children succeed academically, socially, behaviorally and emotionally.
Occupational Therapist

Occupational therapists assess areas in the educational environment: postural stability, self-help skills, fine motor skills, sensory processing, social/play abilities, visual motor and perception, task completion, and organization.
Special Education Teacher

Instruct students in the development of skills and knowledge that enables them to participate independently to the highest degree possible, based on assessment needs. Conduct assessment which focuses on both long and short-term needs of the student.
School Nurse

Nursing are assigned to school sites or Early Education Centers, or in a central office position providing District-wide nursing services. Identifies health problems that could impact a student’s ability to learn. Helping families find resolution to identified health barriers to learning.
Physical Therapist

School-based physical therapy (PT) is a related services included in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Children 3 to 22 years of age who meet criteria for special education services may be eligible for PT services.
